What "Guardian Mode" means
On the Free plan, the AI only runs when you manually trigger an investigation. On Pro, DeepTracer's AI agent monitors your app continuously:
- Checks for anomalies every 5 minutes
- Automatically investigates new critical errors
- Sends Slack/email alerts when something needs your attention
- Generates daily health summaries
You don't have to be watching the dashboard — DeepTracer watches for you.
Overages
If you go over 2,000,000 events in a month, your data keeps flowing. DeepTracer never cuts off your monitoring. Excess events are billed at $0.50 per 100,000 events on your next invoice.

FAQ
Can I try Pro for free?
Sign up for the Free plan and use it as long as you want. When you're ready for unlimited AI and ambient monitoring, upgrade to Pro. No trial period needed — the Free plan is genuinely useful on its own.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your workspace downgrades to Free at the end of the billing period. Data older than 1 day is archived. You keep your projects and settings, but only one project stays active.
Do I pay per project?
Yes. Each project on the Pro plan costs $19/month. If you have 3 projects, that's $57/month. Events are counted per project — each project gets its own 2M event allowance.
What counts as an event?
Each log entry, error report, trace span, or LLM usage report is one event. See Usage & Limits for the full breakdown.
